Detailed description
After being picked up in Jerusalem, you will pass through the settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev, and travel to Ramallah, entering through the checkpoint into the neighborhood of Kufr Akab. The Separation WALL divides the neighborhood from Jerusalem although it is part of the municipality and the residents pay city taxes. You’ll visit Arafat's Tomb and walk the streets of this bustling city, now the de-facto Capital for Palestinians in the West Bank
After departing Ramallah you’ll travel through the Judean Desert, passing the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, and Bethany, the site of the Tomb of Lazarus. You’ll travel part of the way on a shared Israeli/Palestinian highway, and then through Wadi al-Na'ar on roads that are restricted to Palestinians (and tourists).

Both cities are administered by the Palestinian Authority while being isolated from Jerusalem due to Israel's construction of the 'Separation Barrier', hundreds of checkpoints, 'Israeli only' roads, and restrictions on travel into Jerusalem.
